Lombok Surf Camp is based in Gerupuk, a small fishing village on the south coast of Lombok, just 7km from Kuta Lombok and under 40 minutes from Lombok International Airport. The camp sits right in the heart of the village, overlooking Gerupuk Bay- one of the most consistent, wave-rich bays in Indonesia, with a line-up of breaks for every level reachable by a short longboat ride from the beach.
Days here follow a simple rhythm: longboat out to the best break for the conditions and your ability, surf, eat well, and unwind back at camp or in the village as the sun goes down. With waves working year-round and something on offer whatever the swell is doing, it's an easy place to settle into and watch your surfing improve.

Gerupuk Bay curls around the south coast of Lombok, a wide, sheltered horseshoe reef pass with half a dozen named breaks peeling in from the open ocean. The village itself is low-key and local, with a handful of warungs, board rental shacks, and fishermen's boats lined up along the shore that double as the area's surf taxis.
The Home Break- Inside Gerupuk: Inside is the bay's most reliable and forgiving wave- a long, mellow right-hander peeling over a soft reef that works on almost any swell. It holds well from small to solid size, is at its best on a mid-to-high tide, and is the natural home break for the camp: gentle enough for a first-timer's longboat lesson, fun enough that improving surfers keep coming back for more.
More Breaks Close By: DonDon, an A-frame peak a short paddle away with equally good rights and lefts on a medium-to-large swell, and Outside Right, a faster, steeper reef break for confident intermediate and advanced surfers chasing a proper wall. Both are a quick longboat ride from Inside, so your guide can move you between them as the swell shifts through the day.
