The Surf Camp
Wake up under canvas in the shade of the pines, and the beach is a short walk through the dunes. Our family surf camp sits on a 4-star campsite in St. Girons Plage, in France's Landes region, with comfortable glamping safari tents and — new this year — air-conditioned mobile homes with their own bathroom and kitchen.
It's a proper family surf camp built around togetherness: a big communal Bedouin tent for shared meals and evenings, a giant trampoline right alongside it, and surf courses for everyone from six-year-olds taking their first lesson to parents chasing bigger green waves.
Whether you're new to surfing or already comfortable, our instructors keep every group moving at the right pace.

Our St. Girons package is built around full board — breakfast, a packed lunch, a midday snack and dinner — plus five days of children’s entertainment, three yoga sessions and a weekly wine and cheese evening for the grown-ups. The camp itself is small and family-run, tucked into a shaded pine forest just behind the dune, with its own outdoor gym and a big Bedouin tent at its heart where families naturally get to know each other. The campsite adds a large pool and slide park, a playground with bouncy castles and a trampoline park — plenty to fill the time between surf sessions.

St. Girons Plage is a top beach break for learning to surf, with waves for complete beginners and more experienced surfers alike. Choose the Surf Course M (10 hours) or Surf Course L (13 hours), both mixing water time with beach coaching and surf theory, taught in small groups of up to eight per instructor.
Kids (6–10): Our youngest surfers get their own courses, run alongside the adult classes with an extra surf assistant in the water for added safety. Two course lengths are available, so your family can build a surf week around your children's pace — with up to four kids joining each adult surf course.
