The Surf Camp

Grown-up surf holidays, done properly. Our Moliets camp is built exclusively for the 24+ crowd who want their surf trip to come with a proper social scene attached. Set in the pine forest just steps from the beach, this is where consistent Atlantic beach breaks meet an outdoor gym, beach volleyball court and a promenade full of bars and late-night energy. Whether you're chasing your first green wave or sharpening turns you already know, our ISA-trained instructors will get you there — then leave you free to make the most of Moliets after dark.

Our Moliets 24+ package is an all-inclusive week built around surfing, fitness and community. It includes daily coaching, full board, and a full programme of extras — from yoga and outdoor training to a proper wine and cheese night. Available with self-arrival or group bus transfer, with a minimum stay of one week.

Set on a hillside site in the pine forest, right between the beach access and Moliets’ lively promenade, our camp puts you a short walk from both the Atlantic and the town’s best bars, cafés and restaurants. The nearby freshwater lagoon and river mouth make for some of the most photographed sunsets on the French coast, and the surrounding forest is made for a morning run or bike ride before the first surf session.

Accommodation

Camp, but make it comfortable
Included
Choose from mobile homes with private veranda, cosy premium tents, or timber bungalows — all set among the pines a short stroll from the beach.

2–4 Person Mobile Home — Two bedrooms (double bed plus two singles), a living area with fridge, private bathroom and veranda. Book a single room or take the whole home for a group.

1–2 Person Premium Tent — A step up from standard camping — real beds, proper storage and a shaded outdoor seating area. 2–4 Person Bungalow — Timber-built and set back in the trees for extra privacy, with space for a small group.

Bed linen, towels, cutlery and crockery all provided. Check-in from 4pm.

Accommodation
Choose from mobile homes with a private veranda, cosy premium tents, or timber bungalows — all set on a pine-forested hillside between the beach and Moliets' promenade.
Meals
Breakfast, a make-your-own packed lunch, and a freshly prepared dinner are included every day, with vegetarian and vegan options always on the table. The week's culinary highlight is our wine and cheese evening, showcasing local specialities — plus a Mexican-style BBQ night once a week.
Surf Lessons
Beginner Surfer:
Best for first timers, or anyone still finding their feet. Sessions cover safety, paddling, pop-up basics and catching small, broken waves with control, backed up by wave science theory on land.

Intermediate Surfer:
For surfers ready to move from broken waves onto their first green waves. You'll work on timing, positioning and early turns with ISA-certified coaches, in small groups of no more than eight per instructor.

Advanced Surfer:
For confident surfers looking to sharpen technique on Moliets' beach breaks. Sessions focus on wave selection and style, with the option to join intensive coaching for more personalised feedback.
Surf Equipment
Free use of surfboards outside of course times, plus complimentary longboard and skateboard hire for cruising the promenade.
Camp Activities
Life at camp runs well beyond the surf: an outdoor gym, beach volleyball court, slacklines and table tennis are all on site, with a lively promenade of bars and cafés just a short walk away. A weekly optional day trip to San Sebastián adds a change of scene for those who want it — join in as much, or as little, as you like.

Yoga Sessions
Yoga is available as an add-on and pairs perfectly with surfing — mobility, balance and recovery to keep your body holding up across the week.
Transfers
Shuttle transfers can be arranged from Bordeaux and Biarritz airports, and from Dax train station. These need booking in advance and are best arranged ahead of arrival.
Surf Coaching
Additional coaching sessions, including intensive and technique-focused options, can be added to get the most from your surf week.

Moliets-et-Maa sits on France's Atlantic coast in the Landes, where pine forest meets wide sandy beach. Our camp is tucked into the dunes between the beach access and the town's promenade, with the Courant d'Huchet river and its freshwater lagoon just alongside — home to some of the best sunset views on this stretch of coast. It's an easy stroll into the village for shops, cafés and restaurants, with Bordeaux and Biarritz both within reach for onward travel.
