The Surf Camp

Step out your door, and the ocean's right there — home spot K11 breaking a few steps from the surf house, with the Atlantic visible from your window or the rooftop terrace.Our Pure Surf Camp sits in Aourir, known locally as Banana Village, on Morocco's Atlantic coast, just five minutes' walk from the beach and a short drive from the surf mecca of Taghazout. It's a proper surf house built for community — solo travellers, friends, couples and groups all mix easily here, whether it's over a sunset surf check, a themed pool party, or a shared table at dinner. Our instructors teach every level, from your first green wave to guided sessions at the region's best breaks.

Our Morocco package is built around daily surf lessons or guiding, breakfast and dinner shared with our neighbouring partner camp, and full access to their infinity pool, sun loungers and rooftop bar. The camp itself has its own rooftop yoga and fitness terrace with 180° ocean views, plus exclusive sunbed access at Richie’s Beach Club right on the sand. Home spot K11 is directly in front of camp, with world-class breaks like Anchor Point, Boilers and Devil’s Rock all within easy reach — and with 330 days of sunshine a year, this is a surf trip that works any time of year.

Every room here was recently renovated with a clean, modern Moroccan style, and each has a sea view of some kind — whether that's a private balcony or a shared terrace just down the hall.

Sea View Suite: Our top-floor showstopper, with a glass front giving a full 180° panoramic view over the sea, the home spot and the sunset. A king-size bed and a huge balcony lounge area make this the pick for a special surf trip for two.

Sea View Double (Deluxe): Bright, modern doubles with a king-size or push-together twin bed and a sea view as standard. Upgrade to Deluxe for extra space, a private balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows.

4 Bed Dorm: Comfortable single or bunk beds in a modern, freshly renovated room with plenty of space for luggage — a sociable, good-value option for groups or solo surfers.

Sea View 5 Bed Dorm: The same sociable dorm setup, upgraded with sea views and a balcony that's perfect for a sunset drink or checking the home spot before breakfast.

Two infinity pools, a bar and lounge area, and an indoor and outdoor dining space, all with sea views, shared by every guest.

Accommodation

Every room was recently renovated with a modern Moroccan style and a sea view of some kind, from the top-floor Sea View Suite to sociable dorms — all built around the camp's two infinity pools and sun terrace.

Meals

Breakfast and dinner are included daily, served either in our newly designed indoor dining area or out on the sea-view terrace, so you can watch the waves while you eat.

Fresh, local ingredients go into both Moroccan and international dishes, prepared by our kitchen team.

Surf Lessons

Beginner Surfer: New to surfing or still finding your feet on green waves? Our Beginner Surf Course runs over 4 or 5 days at our home spot K11, mixing water time with theory, with board and wetsuit included throughout.

Intermediate Surfer: Already riding green waves with a solid take-off? Our Intermediate Surf Course builds on timing and technique over 4 or 5 days at K11, with equipment included.

Surf Guiding: For experienced surfers ready to chase the region's best breaks. Our 4-day Surf Guiding takes you to spots like Anchor Point, Boilers and Devil's Rock, with transfers included — bring your own board, or rent one on-site.

Surf Equipment

Softboards, hardtop boards and wetsuits are all available to rent for free surfing outside of course times.

Camp Activities

The two infinity pools and sun terrace are the heart of camp life, with a bar for sunset drinks and comfortable loungers to relax on between sessions.

Yoga and cross training happen up on the neighbouring rooftop gym with its own sweeping sea views, and Richie's Beach Club adds exclusive sunbeds, hammocks and canopy beds right on the sand. Movie nights, theme parties and pool-jump competitions keep the evenings just as lively.

Day Trips

Explore further with a Friday afternoon trip to Agadir's famous souk, a day at the oasis of Paradise Valley in the Atlas Mountains, or an on-request excursion to the legendary city of Marrakech.

Sandboarding

Head into the desert for an afternoon of sandboarding down the dunes, with drinks, snacks and a sunset to round off the day — transfer and dinner included.

Fitness & Coaching

Add personal training or fitness boxing sessions with our coaches, or join one of our included cross training sessions for a change of pace from surfing.

The camp sits in Aourir — locally known as Banana Village — on Morocco's Atlantic coast, just 500 metres from the beach, with home spot K11 breaking right in front.

The surf town of Taghazout, with its buzzing surf bars and famous skate park, is only a short walk or drive away, and further breaks such as Anchor Point, Banana Point and Devil's Rock are all within easy reach by our camp shuttle.

Agadir Airport is roughly 25 minutes away, and with 330 days of sunshine a year, there's rarely a bad time to visit.
