Discover the ultimate fast-track to becoming a certified watersports instructor with our 3-Week Intensive Instructor Course in the stunning landscapes of Pembrokeshire, Wales. This program specializes in three key qualifications: ISA Level 1 Surf Instructor, ISA Flat Water SUP Award, and SLSGB Surf Beach Lifeguard.

In just three weeks, you'll embark on an intensive and rewarding journey, designed to empower you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the world of watersports instruction.

Throughout the 3 weeks is to supply you with all the skills necessary to become a successful outdoor instructor. You will assist and lead activities and also get involved in the less glamorous side of the job such as kit management and risk assessments. These small parts all build the bigger picture of a successful, internationally employable instructor. Your office for the next 2 months will be beautiful beaches and your colleagues will be other like-minded outdoor lovers.

What You'll Gain

ISA Level 1 Surf Instructor: Unleash your passion for surfing as you earn your ISA Level 1 Surf Instructor certification. Learn the art of coaching and guiding surfers to ride the waves safely and confidently. This qualification is your ticket to teaching the thrill of surfing to enthusiasts worldwide.

ISA Flat Water SUP Award: Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is not just a sport; it's a way of life. Our course equips you with the ISA Flat Water SUP Award, enabling you to share the joy of paddleboarding with others. Explore serene waters, teach paddle techniques, and enhance your students' experience.

SLSGB Surf Beach Lifeguard: Lifeguarding is a vital part of water safety. Earn the SLSGB Surf Beach Lifeguard qualification and become a guardian of our beaches. Learn rescue techniques, first aid, and critical skills to ensure the safety of those enjoying the surf.

3 weeks (4 days a week, 9am - 5pm).

Prerequisites

· Minimum 18 years old.
· A good level of fitness both in the water and on land .
· Be able to swim 200 metres in a pool within 5 minutes.
· Achieving a swim time of 400m in under 8 minutes by the end of the course.
· Be able to run 200m in under 1 min.
· Excellent teamwork, leadership and communication skills.

You don’t need any previous qualifications to enrol on this programme. You also don’t need to be proficient in the course activities. We can assist you in gaining experience and confidence in all aspects of the course.

What's Included?

· 3 weeks of intensive 'on the job' experience.
· Accommodation can be arranged for an additional cost.

· 6 highly qualified ISA instructors SLSGB trainer assessors teaching & developing your small group.
· Surfing, life saving, first aid, flat water open ocean paddle boarding, location specific wildlife and marine information.
· Completion of your intern hours.
· Experience coaching all ages and abilities are our centres across South Pembrokeshire.
· All course fees.
· Enhanced DBS check certificate.
· SLSGB Membership fee (worth £35).
· Opportunity for paid work on completion of course.
· Use of top of the range equipment for the duration of the course.
